20th CONVOCO! Forum 2024<\/strong><\/h3>\n

How Can We Create a Free, Just, and Sustainable World?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Am 27. Juli 2024 feierte das CONVOCO! Forum sein 20-j\u00e4hriges Bestehen im Salzburg Congress \u2013 mit einem hochkar\u00e4tigen Programm und G\u00e4sten aus Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft, Politik und Kultur.<\/p>\n

Den feierlichen Auftakt gestaltete Corinne M. Flick<\/strong>, Gr\u00fcnderin und Vorsitzende von CONVOCO!, mit einer Er\u00f6ffnungsrede zum Jubil\u00e4um.<\/p>\n

In seiner Keynote \u201eThe Global Climate Race and a European Green Growth Mindset<\/strong>\u201c er\u00f6ffnete Gernot Wagner<\/strong> (Columbia Business School) die inhaltliche Auseinandersetzung mit dem dr\u00e4ngendsten Thema unserer Zeit.<\/p>\n

Im ersten Panel, moderiert von Timo Meynhardt<\/strong> (HHL Leipzig), diskutierten Clemens Fuest<\/strong>, Monika Schnitzer<\/strong>, Philipp Pattberg<\/strong> und Sven Simon<\/strong>, ob Klimaschutz und -anpassung gelingen k\u00f6nnen<\/strong> \u2013 aus \u00f6konomischer, wissenschaftlicher und politischer Perspektive.<\/p>\n

Der Neurobiologe Martin Korte<\/strong> fragte im Anschluss in seinem Vortrag:
\u201eAre brains built to cope with climate change?\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nach der Pause er\u00f6ffnete Hans-Dieter Lucas<\/strong>, deutscher Botschafter in Italien und San Marino, den zweiten Teil des Forums mit einer eindrucksvollen Analyse zur Friedens- und Sicherheitslage Europas<\/strong> im Zeitalter globaler Machtverschiebungen.<\/p>\n

Das folgende Panel widmete sich der internationalen Klimapolitik als Friedenspolitik<\/strong>. Unter der Moderation von Moritz Schularick<\/strong> diskutierten Christine Langenfeld<\/strong>, Gabriel Felbermayr<\/strong> und Claudia Wiesner<\/strong> die Rolle Europas in einer neuen Weltordnung.<\/p>\n

Im dritten Forumsgespr\u00e4ch ging es um die Zukunft der digitalen Gesellschaft<\/strong>:
K\u00f6nnen wir Freiheit, Gerechtigkeit und Nachhaltigkeit im Digitalen durch kluge Regulierung sichern?
Die Einf\u00fchrung \u00fcbernahm Birke H\u00e4cker<\/strong>; es diskutierten Gerhard Wagner<\/strong>, Mathias Risse<\/strong> und Herbert Reitsamer<\/strong>, moderiert von Marietta Auer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Den Abschluss bildete das inspirierende Art Conversation<\/strong>:
Hans Ulrich Obrist<\/strong> (Serpentine Galleries, London) sprach mit dem renommierten Landschaftsarchitekten Piet Oudolf<\/strong> und dem K\u00fcnstler Tino Sehgal<\/strong> \u00fcber Natur, Kunst und gesellschaftliche Imagination.<\/p>\n
